Edit JFIF Comment does only one thing: it lets you view and edit text comments embedded in JFIF files (more commonly referred to as JPEG files). Open a file by using the File menu or by dropping it onto the application, edit the comment, save the file, that's it.
Edit JFIF Comment has two important features. First, it leaves the actual image data untouched, which means that no quality loss is incurred. Second, it is scriptable, which means that you can add a custom to a bunch of files in a single operation. An AppleScript droplet named “DropChange JFIF Comment” is provided to that end. You must edit it to enter the comment of your choice.
This software requires System 7 and a 68020 or later processor. It is not accelerated for PowerPC because not much speed would be gained.

This software was written by François Pottier <pottier@kagi.com>. I needed such a tool and couldn't find anything like it, so I wrote it.
